Breakfast is the first and most important meal of the day, the one that we skip on the most. Where are the the Best Breakfasts to be had in Lanzarote? (my Mammy makes a decent Irish fry up) Sausages bacon egg beans pudding & toast, porage with sugar, chocolate spread on toast, poached or boiled eggs, cornflakes or wheatabix... what's your morning fuel and refill, and where is best for Breakfast on Lanzarote? Mines a full fry with steak sausages, fried soda and a soft fried egg, helped down with a strong mug of PG Tips tea. So far still looking for it, but Café 34 is a good front runner. Simon

I've not been in, but I did notice that Charmers in PB were advertising not only a good old full english, but also a full vegetarian breakfast. Now I'm fancying a bit of that. We've promised ourselves a walk down and partake sometime when we wake up with a fat hangover. It hasn't happened yet (the breakfast not the hangover) but I'll let you know what it's like when we do. I tend to cycle for a couple of hours every other day when I'm in Lanza - Mrs Flash is convinced I only cycle as far as Charmers - scoff the breakfast and then cycle back. As if

I had a fantastic dish of "Huevos Rancheros" a couple of days ago at Emma's Cantina in PdC - but you guys can't have any because they're not normally open for brekkie. Mua ha ha ha ha!
(It's ok... they're on his starters menu)
Fave breakfast normally? Lighthouse Cafe in Faro Park... or Jude's British cafe in Costa Teguise.

Just in case anyone hasn't caught on to this one......There are a lot of what seems like great breakfast deals around. 1.50. 1.95 etc. Then, when you get the bill you see that the tea or coffee that they always make sure you take is 3 euros!

Ouch! That's immoral in my book, DrRobert - people should be more open about their pricing.
Good deals in IKEA too (yes, really!)
Toast and a tea or coffee... 1 euro 2 hotdogs and a large fizzy drink - €2.50 (had that today) 1 hotdog and a medium fizzy drink - €1.50 (If memory serves me right) Meatballs with potatoes, veggies, gracy. Drink and a mini Magnum chocice - €3.95!!!! (But only for a couple of hourse each evening. It either starts or finishes at 7pm. Bart might remember)
It's not haute cuisine - but a bargain if you're in the area.

And don't forget the "coffee and magdalena" for 1.50! I sometimes sit there, read my book and watch the world go by! Sad, really.........

Deffo have to say the hungrymans breakfast at Terrace Bistro is an absolute must! It's in CC Papagayo behind Dorada beach ... Mark & Pauline will give you a breakfast that really keeps hunger locked up! Phil
