Popped in this bar yesterday... and had prompt service with a smile.
They do food there and it looked lovely. I saw a massive tuna salad, which looked lovely. We didn't eat... but everyone around us seemed very happy with their food.
They have seating outside, as well as inside.
I hear they have live entertainment each night too.

Hi Flooey.
Came back from PDC yesterday as ya know. I called in the Galleon for a couple of lunches. The food and the service was great. One day I even had chips n fish !! But they give you six smaller portions of fish in batter instead of the usual 1 larger potion that we get here in the UK, the breakfasts are also very good value. Dannielle from Newcastle and Steve from "goodness knows where" more or less run the bar for the owners. The owner is called Dannielle as well, lovely woman and her husband, a Canarian guy is very comical, he can even talk more than you n me Flooey !! Now thats a first eh !!
Quite a few ex pat residents use it as their local, so your never short of someone to have a natter with. The drinks are very reasonably priced, they always have the sport on and as I said, the company's good. Plus the lager is ice cold !!
They've not had any entertainment for a while, but it doesn't seem to have affected this nice little bar in any way. I spent a few nights in there, we had a beano with the shots,,, but a hangover the day after !!! Be warned Huh?? ha ha ha
A great little bar that I will certainly be frequenting again....

Blimmin 'eck love! Now THAT's going some!  LOL

I actually think the Galleon has improved since it shrunk. It's just more homely now.

###been in here a few times only during the day and its been great , the beer is as has been said and they were very helpful when we wanted to know where somewhere was , always said hello when we popped in , normally after walking from the Floresta in Poccillos and in serious need of a drink the just up from here the Tavern i think is great for watching football but its all inside so the OH complained but again the owners were great and we had a very drunken day in their with some scottish frinds watching the red scum winning the premiership  Angry Angry Angry Angry(silly me wore my city shirt got the p*ss ripped out of me by various southerners that day)
