Bristol boys eh? Heaven help us LOL!

Have a great time! You'll be here for cracking weather in July!  If you're after cheapo beer before heading into Centro Atlantico from Matagorda... then go to Pythons Bar, or Fiddlers Green. €1.50 for a large beer can't be bad eh?

You're welcome. You can't miss those bars. As you have your back to the beach... and Los Pocillos Commercial centre is in front of you... Pythons is the large one on the left hand side. It's got a massive terrace, and big posters up.  Fiddlers Grenn is round on the right hand side, set back a bit. There's also G&Ts for good value homecooked grub, which is between the two.
If you're staying in Matagorda, and not heading into Carmen... then try Chev's Bar, which is upstairs above the Italian restaurant, in the Matagorda Centre.

A cab will probably cost you about €4 to get you to Centro... and that's where it really livens up at night - but not until about 11 oe 12. And there are LOADS of bars en route. If you go to the PdC page on this site... you see quite a few of them.

Have a good time!

Hi Bristol Geezer

So you're staying at Costa Sal - I've stopped there in the past.

Make sure you go to the Matagorda shopping centre, and if you happen by a little bar called the Funny Farm be sure to say hi to Chev for me!

Yeah when you're down in CC Matagorda you can go to Gee Gees as well (next to Funny Farm) as they are the cheapest drinks in town ... then go next door at 11pm and get Chev to cook you up some hearty grub before you hit Atlantico or 928 ... infact by the time you come the (self-proclaimed) "KING OF CLUBS" will be opened again!  Cheesy
