Popped up to CT for a while today to see a couple of clients etc... and... 1. Waved at The Highlander for Bob  2. Had a gooooorgeous brekkie at Jude's place (British Cafe) 3. Had a good nosey in the "Sunburnt Arms", which is now "The Waterfront". It's been open 3 weeks, and looks great! Met the owner, and had a good old butchers at the menu etc. We'll definitely be back. 4. Cringed at a rather large gentleman who was wearing extremely small trunks *shudder* 5. Did a double take at a fella on a pushbike who was almost the image of our Currylover (only not quite as handsome of course Mick) 6. Nearly got run over by a young lass on some electrical scootr/segway/thing... and then was apologised to by her big sister. 7. Said hi to a lass working in hammy's (no sign of Hammy for you, I'm afraid, Kitten love) 8. And last but not least - got a new skirt. It's a very frilly and girlie wraparound with big pink flowers on it. Far more feminine than my usual tastes - but I've been eyeing it up for a while in a shop in Playa Blanca. Spotted it even cheaper in Costa Teguise - so Bart bought it for me. Shop owner fell about laughing when I asked for a resident discount though!   It'll look a bit bl**dy lovely with my pnk flip flops, and a pink top. Now all I need is a night out to show it off. Aha! We'll see you at the weekend then hopefully Flash - be sure to pay me a compliment... we women need them!  |

That's really sad news Bob love! Seems to be a fair amount of death around at the moment.

Hello flooey, How are you and Bart...seems like ages since i was last on here..but a lot of sad things have happened...which i mentioned to you last time....anyway on the bright side of things..3 weeks on thursday... i will be in Costa Teguise again..YIPPEE So how's the weather been there?? ...we have had yet another rubbish summer, here..so i am so looking forward to just lieing on the beach in Costa Teguise , need a suntan ..am whiter than a milk bottle.. LOL...Oh and i am looking forward to one of Hammy's lethal cocktails! look forward to hearing from you take care ann (kitten) ps: i will be on again before i go to Costa Teguise |

Yipee... last time i was in this forum i said i had only 3 weeks to go...now i've only got 3 days...it's been a long time coming this hol...but at last its nearly here....am half packed..but will probably un pack..re pack, several times more before i set of According to a website, i've been checking for the weather (which gives you a 10 day forecast) it's saying it is 79-80 degrees in Lanzarote at mo....can anyone confirm what the weather is like , please.....Well if i don't get chance to come back on here before i go on thursday (i hope to ) I will be back on after my two weeks hol to give a short/long version of events COSTA TEGUISE HERE I COME Cheers Ann x |
