This is primarily for you Bob... but there is stuff in it for anyone too. I saw on HT that you are staying at Punta Jablillo when over next. I can't comment on the hotel, as I've never been in - but there's plenty of lovely places for you to visit (if you haven't already). In the little commercial centre with the crazy golf is Smiggy's Bar. madge and Iain are lovely people, and will make you feel welcome. Tell them we've "met" on here. They have a page on this site (link on the CT page). Across the road and down the side street is Bulldog, run by Mick (Tigger) and Sarah. Great grub, and discount vouchers in their section of the forum in here too. Come back to the main road... turn right, and then go down the first little alleyway you see. In there is the British Cafe, which is run by Jude who posts in here when she can stop being "Cinderella" for long enough! Excellent breakfasts - we had one yesterday - yum! I'd mention The Highlander - but that's your local anyway! Oh, and if you want to pop into this forum whilst you're away and brag to everyone about what a great time you're having... then get to Playa de Las Cucharas, and go to Tapas.com which is new, and run by Debbie & Dave. As you have the cove behind you.. it's right round the left hand side. It's a really nice internet cafe, but they also do tapas in there. And the Sunburnt Arms has now just reopened as The Waterfront (run by Craig and Niki). And don't forget the Lively Lady Showbar - great fun! Michael and Kevin are good fellas... and it's a real scream for a night out. Flooey xx

Yes Paradise is a must place to visit ... especially if you like football!!! Ken and Lesley have the best set up for watching sport in the whole of Costa Teguise (16 satellite boxes - but only 13 tvs!) ... every game is on in there when the premiership is on! But watch out for their day barman (can't remember his name right now) as he is ex-army and he brews a cup of tea so strong with a splash of milk that you can stand a spoon up in it ... I told him he didn't need to ration my milk next time! lol! Oh and for those that wonder "paradise bar" most people know it either as "paradise football" or "football football" because of their sign ... it's upstairs from the bouncy euro-bungees near to Saxos as Ste said!

Well i stayed at this hotel half board for two weeks in August, and in that two weeks there was no enterainment of any kind for the kids, the restaurant/bar was not open, we had to go to another hotel for our food, because we was not told any of this in Manchester the rep give us €400 back and we could still eat at the other hotel, will never go half board again, two nice things i can say about the hotel the staff was wonderfull and great sea views. forgot to say, one night we got the food we sat down a man came up said you cannot sit here A1 only, I never when back
