I'm not easily distracted... Oh look - a puppy!

Hiya guys, I had plans to go to Corralejo this week, but have had to delay it for a week or two. But as I'll be there for most of the day and night, can anyone recommend somewhere to get a nice cheap and cheerful lunch for one? I don't want a UK menu. And somewhere within walking distance of the port, with directions too, would be superb!

Cheers my lovelies!

If you want to delay it by a bit longer (12 weeks) I will make sure you have a cheap and cheerful lunch as I will treat you.  Wink

Keith.  Cool

PS failing that you can do some scouting around for me.  Grin

I'll probably be around again when you are anyway Keith. I'll try and time a visit over there for then too. Lunch sounds great! And I get to see you and Mrs Mad again too. But don't tell Bart - he'll want to come!

Will scout for you anyway though.

We found a great Italian place called Da Ugi (?). If you are on the main street, going towards the port, go to the left before Mango. It's a cross between a take away and a cafe, and the food is excellent ! It's very reasonably priced. About 8 of us went and we had turkey in sauce, lasagne, beef, macaroni, fresh veg, salads, more pasta and then some great desserts; the chocolate roll was amazing. Highly recommended !

Sounds great Ziggy - thanks!  I'll look it up next time I go. I'm hoping to come over again at the end of this month with hubby. I'll be staying in Puerto del Rosario - so might just pick your brains a bit in that area?

But may I also just thank you for resurrecting this point...

Keith! Oy! Where was my lunch? Oh okay... maybe I got there a bit late. The drinkie in that bar whose name could not be worked out from their signage was lovely anyway. Wink Shame about the loos though... minging... so maybe it's a good job we couldn't work out the name.
