Hi guys Can't wait to arrive in C/T on the 16 June was wonder if you could provide some info? I'm a single guy and in the evening I always go out. But don't want to miss a moment of fun. So any ideas of good lively places to go would be great help. I always find the best bars eventually but don't want to lose days of fun searching on a hit and miss bases. Can you help? I like most things Karaoke, good music, comfortable surroundings and women up for a laugh are there any places like this? Also would help if the staff are friendly too. Just to add is anyone out there about the same time that would like to meet up? Thanks Bob for putting me on to this forum. Any help would be great you get the idea. Thanks

HI Karl - and welcome! have you been to Costa teguise before, or is this your first time?
I'm sure everyone will have some tips for you, for whilst you are there.
Just a couple to start you off though...
1. Bulldog Bar - bouncy, fun, and with great laughs and cheap beer. they've got a section of their own in this forum, with a money off or free drink voucher.
2. Yummy breakfasts at British Cafe - run by Jude who posts in here... loverlee!
Ok... maybe a 3rd and 4th too...
3. Highlander Bar (Bob's favourite) - lovely guys in there! Very friendly!
4. Smiggy's bar - the place we ALWAYS visit when in CT. Madge and Smiggy are great.
Over to the others now...
And enjoy your holiday!
Flooey xx

hi karl, not sure of your age or where you are staying but i'll try to include most things everything that elle (flooey) said, plus try the square on an evening, fridays are busiest as there is a market there that night, some good bars and restaurants too,try the bluebells, chispas( very cheap 7 euro for 4 pint jug of beer! you'll find most of the locals in here at some point in the night! cheapskates us lot!!) not me tho i make the hubby take me to the cocktail bar next door! a classy bird needs a mojito every now and then! there is an irish bar (the snug) has live music most nights, next square along is the scots and wrye, live music every night,my cafe is next door( quick plug from elle.thankyou xx) upstairs is the jug and platter lovely sunday roasts!,flanagans and the darby if you fancy a bet on the gee gees. if your after discos there is coyote's and dreams next to each other and opposite the teguise playa hotel is a commercial centre with saxos (lots of karyjokey in here!) ask for grant he'll look after you and baobab too. on the seafront there are loads of bars doing entertainment, try splash, the sandcastle, hennesy's, baileys etc etc i could go on more but it would be better if you came into the cafe and i'll draw you a little map! well i wont cos i'm cinderella stuck in the kitchen! but stu my other half is good at the tourist info bit..ie/ he likes to talk a lot!! so nip in and we'll try to help you have a happy hol......... sorry did i sound a bit cosmos rep there?? you know what i mean! see you soon, jude xx

Wow thanks Flooey and Jude for the massive amount of info ( better than a guide book) think its obvious where to go first.. everywhere! I'm sure to stumble into the hot spots sooner or later. Hope I run into you all in some shape or form. I'm staying at the sands beach 15 mins away ( I believe) enough time to sober up and find my apartment at the end of the evening. And I'll be sure to check the Highlander out. Just got to sit back now and wait for the holiday to start yay! thanks

I must second the shouts about Chispas (really is nowhere cheaper to get a drink - like sitting in the booze aisle of tescos!) and of course the great Smiggys who will make sure that you can chill in the sun on their terrace (out of the wind!!!) whilst they bring you food and beer!!!! Enjoy your hols!
