this is my first time on this site and i really hope this is the right place to write this and maybe a few off you can help. my husband and i and are 3 children(all under 3) are due to fly out to these apartments(Teguisol) in 6days and after reading lots off different reviews on different sites, i am really starting to worry about what we are letting are self in for. i have never been to Lanzarote before and am really looking forward to it, but worried about the apartments as alot off reviews say the apartments are not clean and have lots off bugs in the room, does anyone no ?? ( its just my twin girls were born permature and pick up every little infection).

my only other question is are they lots off cats around the apartments ? and if so do they bother you ? i have a really bad phobia of cats  Angry

its our first family holiday and i just want us to have a fab time

thankyou x

Hi there Plunks and welcome to the forum. I'm a dog fan, rather than a cat fan... so I'd want a hotel with no cats too - but obviously for different reasons.

Anyway - there's a few Costa teguise fans in here that may be able to help!

Good luck!

hi plunks, don't let bad reviews put you off, some people want champagne hols on lemonade money if you get my drfit and your holiday is what you make it after all,
the teguisol apartments are ok,a bit basic but our family stayed there last year and had a great time, the only complaint was scratchy towels!! ( from my 14 year old niece, cos obviously she has to have luxury!) so if it's a problem take your own, there are occasionly bugs in lanza, mainly ants in the hot seasons but you can get sprays from the supermarket that work well and if you have a problem with the cleanliness, tho i thought things were clean, then just ask the reception to request a room clean.the staff are really nice and all speak english.
there are cats in most of the self catering complexes as tourists tend to feed them, but if you just ignore them they wont bother you and they aren't manky looking ones anyway!
tegusol is right at the end of costa teguise but if you come out of your hotel turn right and head along the road in 5 mins you will hit most of the shops, bars etc.
hope you have a happy hol,the weather is fab at the mo!
