Fantastic website, congratulations to all concerned.

We stayed at the Lanzarote park last November and we passed the Irish Anvil many times and it always looked clean and tidy and very popular.
We did mean to go in but we just never seemed to have the time. We return in January so it will be our first port of call this time.

Quality website guys.

Great veggie menu too, I've noticed that before, including veggie breakfast  Tongue  got to eat there in August - and hopefully take in the Grand Prix - which usually involves advanced refreshment  Wink

We found the Irish Anvil during our first trip to Playa Blanca a couple of years ago. We were staying at the Rubicon Palace at that time, so it was on our "beat" each time we walked in and out to town.  We always stopped off for a pot of tea at 1 o'clock or 6 o'clock so that we could catch up on the RTE news!  (Sad old farts really!)

Anyhow, we did get to sample some slightly "stronger" stuff in the evenings before we staggered home, and when we came home to tell our sons about the craic we had in the Irish Anvil, our eldest chap came up with a slogan.

"The Irish Anvil, the perfect place to get hammered!"

Not really the kind of thing to put on their new website, but it says it like it is!!

Looking forward to the next visit!

Ha ha ha ha ha! Bernadette - that's cracking!!! Give your eldest a high five from me.

My first time in the Irish Anvil was on my first girl's night out after we'd moved here. Angela from MVP, and a lass called Alice took me on a tour of Playa Blanca that night. Wax Bar, Anvil, Alfie Moon's, Rooftops. We had a great time! The second visit was on New Year's Eve 2006 - shortly after midnight we arrived. I had our dog in my arms as he was still a tiny puppy then, and we met some really cracking people that night. I think we zig-zagged out as the sun was rising! I've heard the "Roaring Boys" (Buoys?) from there play - and they're fab! Real thigh slapping stuff. Oh, and they're all a bit good looking too, ladies! Eye candy for us, whilst hubby buys the beer - doesn't get much better eh?
