Hi there

I have a friend heading over to Costa teguise on Saturday with two young kids (2 and 1) and he is wondering what its like for small kids etc. He is staying in Tha Sands Beach, anyone know what its like. He is also wondering what the night life is like and can he bring the kids with him.

Sands Beach is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the town centre. If they do it along the seafront, there's a small commercial centre with a couple of bars, and a few restaurants and shops. Further along is the main beach - which is lovely... and at the far side of that is plenty of bars and restaurants. Going inland, there are even more bars and restaurants.  This is all easy walking distance from his hotel.

No problems with taking the kiddies along... they will be welcomed everywhere!  The beaches are very safe for kiddies. If you keep following the coast from the main beach for another 10 minutes maximum, there's a gorgeous covelike beach which is very sheltered and ideal for little ones.

I can't help with info about Sands Beach I'm afraid... but they will probably have their own website.

Elle xx

PS: Tell him - the weather is gorgeous!

For the last 3 years I have stayed half board not any more, I did not enjoy any of the food I had in the hotels I stayed in, had a bite to eat in the British Cafe that was great, so my lot have decided to eat out next time we are in Costa Teguise, we are going to stay in the Celeste Apartments next time we are there, so from now on its, eat when your hungry, sleep when your tired, drink when your thirsty, happy days.
