Yes I have found this forum, I suppose now that will be the rest of my nights etc filled, keeping up with it all.

Some may know many of my posts on another forum one of the many 'Smile time' type of ones.

Not into the shouting and bitching and argueing type of thing but I don't expect so much of that here, so that should be a good thing.

Life is too short for that kind of behaviour, Laugh and enjoy life, smile and make someone happy, forgive and forget and move on.

Opps better stop now getting to Philosophical or something.

Who am I, good question, arrived from Glasgow in May now PDC, for the rest of my life, how ever long that is....... Well lets learn more of each other as time goes on.

Hi Tam,

I used to read Tam but unfortunately can't read your comic strip.  What does it say?

Hi Tam - good to see you here!

yes, this forum is very friendly. Too fluffy for some... but they have other places to go eh? (at 100mph off the end of my boot would be a good start eh?!)

Anyway - join in the natters... and enjoy!

Thanks all for the welcome.  The little Avatar cartoon is of Andy Capp saying,

'I've so much to do, I don't know where to start - so I'll pop in for a drink, that'll be ONE thing done'

Unfortunately its too easy to live on that principal here.

Maybe I'll grow out of it evenually.   Grin Grin

Thanks CG but I always preferred 'Andy Capp' although for a while I liked 'the Perishers' as well.  However stopped buying newspapers years ago and now miss some of the cartoons.  They were often better than the 'news'  But there again many of the 'newspapers' are not really 'newspapers' but rumour and gossip spreaders as well as whatever is their particular 'agenda' at the time, never seems to be well informed unbiased news.

Currylover, funnily enough that is one meal I have not had over here (curry).  Its hard coming from one of the UK curry capitals to know if they are any good.  I have read a few mixed reports of places here.

Yes, another vote of confidence for the Indian Tandoor House!

Excellent food, very unpretentious restaurant & staff.  We are now regulars and it's one I have no hesitation in recommending.

Hiya Tam
The Zaffran, just down the hill from the Biosfera used to be good, but I've not been in for 12 months or so. Another good little place is inbetween the Galleon and the La Paloma restaurant on the Strip, just up a few steps. I think it used to be owned by an Irish guy, but everyone used to comment on how good the curries were for some strange reason Huh?
