This is a great bar. What they do they do well, and they are one of the busiest places in town thanks to that !

It's never a dull moment; what with the footie, quizzes, the dj and the patter. You can relax too, though; there's a lovely terrace area outside where you have a great view of the Castillo Centre, and you can watch the live music groups from there too.

You know I am always looking for Irn Bru ! Well they have that plus I spotted those vodka shots that I think I'll have to try out.

The staff are friendly and it's a great place for a night out or a relaxing afternoon.

They have got photos of old Glasgow and our beloved Rabbie Burns is on the wall too.

Maybe see you there !

Thought you'd be pleased about the Irn Bru hon! Cheesy

Yes, no doubt we'll meet up when we're over at the end of October.

I was in there to see the Scotland match today, as were most of us Scots. Great. I noticed emcgee was asking about Scottish music, well they had Runrig on at half time and we had a wee sing along. Nice place with nice folk.

I will have to get in and see crazy legs. Apparently it's a great night.

Isn't THIS more your heritage?

I only found it out after the event I'm about to describe (this is where everyone thinks that Bart has gone all Mystic Meg on us)....  Smiley I always knew about the McDonald side, but didn't know that my grandmother on my mother's side (who´s maiden name was Girvan had a strong Campbell background...)

Now for the Mystic Meg bit -  first time I visited the place as an adult (I'd been a number of times as a kid) it was early morning - very early morning - got out of the car and went for a walk.... We got about 100 yards and I got really spooked. REALLY SPOOKED, gut wrenching feeling, cold sweat, and I felt I wanted to cry (obviously being a bloke I held it back! Smiley).... Got in the car, and got the hell out as quick as I could. I had to stop as soon as I was on the road out - where I could look back - and gather my thoughts.... It was a very strange experience (one of a number north of the border).

It was only afterwards I read up on my history, and found out about the families Campbell connection....

Anyway on a lighter note - got that surname information from THIS SITE if anyone is interested....
