Hey everyone, I just wanted to say hello & a great big thank you to everyone in Costa Teguise who helped to make myself & my partner Harry's holiday such good fun especially those fabulous Lively Ladies at their showbar (Girls your show was just fantastic & hilarious), This was our first time in Lanzarote & we have just come home  but we are already booking up for next year  See you all soon  Lorraine. |

Hi my name is Jill and I am from Leeds. I am going to Lanzarote for the first time at Christmas staying at the Coronas Playa. I have been making a note of your favourite bars and look forward to trying them out. Just hoping that the weather will be nice.

Hi Jill and welcome to the forum! The Coronas Playa is a lovely hotel, and nice and peaceful (as no kiddies allowed). Go and treat yourself to the spa in the hotel. It's run by a friend of ours - Yola. Her website is www.bodyandsoullanzarote.comLots of good bars very close to you... Cheers Bar (they have a page on this site), Steptoe's, The Cavern... and a gorgeous little Spanish tapas bar that i always forget the name of - but it's in that same stretch. It's probably a 15-20 minute walk into the town centre... but it's a nice walk, and you can always stop off for a drinkie en route. Probably only a couple of euros for a cab back too. The Spanish Tapas bar is called Casa Luis next to the very expensive Netto.
