Author Topic: Is 360 Euros enough for 1 week?  (Read 895 times)

Hello everyone

I bought my euros yesterday and got 360 for 297 quid. Is this gonna be enough for a week? Im a bit worried I should get some more! Im bringing my card with my anyway incase of emergencies but was just wondering what the average was for a meal in cost teguise? Im tempted to go and get more when ive finished work! Thanks x

If you're just eating and drinking lucy, then you might be ok. But if you're planning on doing any excursions - then best to be on the safe side and get some more.

Average prices in CT for food. Erm... maybe €3 for a breakfast. €8-12 for a main evening course... You can always grab some bread, butter and cheese from the supermarket for lunch - that'll help your funds go further.

As long as you have your card with you, then all should be fine anyway.

If you are on a tight budget Lucy. Just bring your card as back-up just in case..... It's always wise to have a card anyway in case of emergencies.

I'm sure you will be fine on 360 - it's just a matter of cutting you coat according to your cloth - as Flooey suggested, sandwiches from Spar as an alternative to evening meals a couple of time will make it go further if you see it draining away...

Hi everyone! Thanks for the advice. Think I'll buy some more when we get there. At the airport now on my boyfriends iPhone! Our flight leaves at 4 I'm excited now. Hope its sunny for us! x
