I've been in this place a couple of times now - and kept meaning to write a review... so here you are.

This is a bar that seems to be pushing more towards the Brit/Irish punter... although the staff seem to be Spanish.  It's really friendly, and they've got a nice quiet terrace so you can watch the world go by.

They do all sorts of snacks too... and the prices are spot on! I thought the snadwiches on the menu were a little pricy, until I saw that they come with chips too. Really good value for a snack if you're staying up that end of Playa Blanca.

They allow dogs on the terrace too... which is great for us, obviously. There's also plenty of tellies about for the footie too.

We just wish that the centre itself was a bit busier. It's really picturesque, and we like that end of town a lot.

We'll deffo be back.

We walked past that bar a couple of times earlier this year Flooey.  I agree it seems a pity that the rest of the centre is so quiet though there are a couple of good restaurants now - we had a look at the menus but haven't been.

What I thought was really good about the bar is that there is a small kiddies playground there so those with children can have a quiet beer while the kids are playing.

Agreed Josie - I forgot about the playground there.

We're tempted by La Pampa... which is just off the roundabout as you drive into that area. Argentinian I believe? But I could be wrong.

Is it in the new CC just before the Papagayo?

If the Papagayo (Arena?) is the last hotel in Las Colaradas before Playa Mujeres then yes Celty.

La Pampa is a great place to go for a plate full of meat ... their menu prices are just for the steaks and then if you want to add extras you can do! It is one of the best steakhouses we've ever been to and now they've added Stone Grill Pizzas as well!
Nice service - well priced!
As for the Sports Bar we love the fact that you can pour your own beers at the table but we must admit we do still head to WAX or Bar Arena for the big games as they are closer to town!
