Yeah, sun splitting the trees here on the North Yorkshire coast (far better than the crap summer we suffered  ). Finger's crossed it keeps up all week  |

We've just checked the weather and there's going to be a frost here tonight so time to pick my last chillis, courgettes and tomatoes - I do have a few left!

Do you want any chillis when we come down - I've got loads of really hot small ones - a bit coals to Newcastle but why not?

You won't believe this but I've just harvested 4 courgettes, 6 smallish red peppers, 4 large yellow chillis, about 30 small red and green chillis and about 15 gardeners' delight tomatoes from my patio tubs and it's 27th October!

Thanks for the offer Josie - but we've already got some on the go... think we'll be drowning in the hot lovelies when it's time to harvest.
You're right - haven't seen a sparkly lawn in ages... or even a normal lawn come to think of it. But no, not jealous... I much prefer the warmth. I only miss the frost on Boxing Day. Takes me back to a longstanding tradition (with my ladies) that I haven't been able to do recently.
