I have got to do a review about this small bar in the old town , its great , we went initially to see if it was as bad as reviews on another site were , how wrong could they be , and we have since found out where they were coming from

Emma the barmaid was great and she was even there when i received a tetxt saying i had become a uncle fr the frst time , she promised me a drink and as it was december she coughedup in June when we were back , the owner Phil is great and they made our holiday , even when ou freind moved over lasT March she rememebered us ,

a great bar with great staff esp Emma who ill still speak to via phone and will be back to pester her again in an with my parents in tow

if anyone wants a good laugh and somewhere to watch the sport the Dog AND dUCK IS 10/10

AND SAY ELLO TO eMMA FOR US

If you go down thehill from te Biasfera and cross the crossroads heading towards to Harbour , you will come across a small square on your left hand side , thinks there is a farmacia on the croner , its the first bar on the left as you enter the square , opposite Bar Tonga , its great laugh and its quite peacefull compared to teh bars on teh strip  another bar that is great and is used by a lot of locals is Bar Playa , this is where you turn left at the crossroads so NOT up Reina Sofia and walk straight down you will see a bar where the scuba etc go from and teh Garlic prawns , Canarian spuds are to die for and as i said lots of locals and expats are always there ,

went to the dog and duck most days again , to see our mate Emma , but she had changed to the night shift so we went at night a few times as well , again really great place Emma as usual is great and here fiancee Billy was as well (first time we met him) , Phil the owner is a star and when he said who he used to work for on the UK my OH,s eyes lit up , same job as me and she is now thinking about a bar  Grin Grin Grin Grin  , one day we sat with the above oor mate from Knutsford and another expat and had a great day , OK its not as cheap as some places but teh welcome is 100% genuine its well worth a visit and the good thing about teh place it shows the footie , the night before we left there were 8 matches in the prem incl City , they put the city game on the big screen outside (for me  Grin Grin) but inside i could watch 5 more matches and the other 2 were shown in teh bars in teh square so all 8 prem matches live , WHY CANT WE GET THAT IN THIS COUNTRY Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

anyway have a look its a laugh , and when the roadworks are on it can get very busy as a lot of people are staying in teh old town at night rather than go down the avenida

my mate Emma is no longer at this bar , she had her hours cut and was told to get another job if she wanted , when she went for a interview she was sacked by the owner of this bar , luckily she is in Costa not sure where cant get an answer off her yet

so wont go in to this bar again

seems like my mates get fired form bars overthere LOL
