Sorry LyndyLou. It really was very sad. We knew we were moving over... so Pepper went to live with Bart's boys. We had them with us for a long weekend before we shipped out. When we dropped them off - the neighbour was waiting with a long face to break the bad news. he spoke to Bart whilst the boys and I went into their house. As you can imagine, there were plenty of tears.
Our only thought was that knowing Pepper... that fox would not have got away scot free!
I also had another bunny called "Casserole" a few years earlier. I also had 2 mice (Salt & pepper), and 2 gerbils (Wash & Go), a rat called Toaster (who I used to have sit on my shoulder when I went out... just to scare old ladies. I was a Goth then - so I'm not sure which scared them the most). Oh, and don't forget our family dog (Keela), and an adopted puppy for a while (Fudgie),a nd the fiend that hated me as a toddler (Penny). Actually I have a photo of Penny... which includes me as a baby - with the biggest things you will ever have seen! Am off to hunt it out now! Ooh... let's start a baby thread!!!

Poor Pepper that's really sad  What I really want to see now though is a photo of Flooey as a Goth  |

My babies - the white one is Layla - she's eight now and Libby is the tabby - she's six. They were both rescue cats and had been badly treated in one way or another. They fell on their feet when they came to us though! My pet history - Pepi the poodle who we had when I was little. He bit everyone though and had to go and live with an old lady by the seaside. Then Tinkerbell the white rabbit. My most faithful companion was Puss (imaginatively named ) - she was a grey and white cat and lived to the grand old age of 21. She was brilliant - I'll try to post a photo of her later. |

Would love to show them to one of partners who is cat mad but as she's my departmental manager (main part of job being in charge of sensible behaviour) I don't think she would really approve of CN pics this early in the day.

No - best not to then Josie I wouldn't say I'm cat mad I'm just a soft touch. I took my old cat's stuff to donate to the Cat Protection League when she died and came home with a new cat - minus the basket and a £50 donation  |
