Head along the seafront with the ferry port on your left. Punta Limones is a commercial centre just ahead on the right. The Irish Anvil Bar is the only bar on the ground floor, facing the sea. You can't miss it.

Hi,we are staying at the Cay Beach Sun from 29th March for one week and although we have been to PB before we have never stayed in the centre before. What I need to know is how far it is to walk from there to you ? I have arthritis and although I need a stick I am by no means on the knackers yard. If we took it slowly and called in for a few in various watering holes along the way would it be far.Or would you just recommend getting a taxi. Looking forward to our week away and popping in to see you,we shall be back with friends in September so will be around then. Cheesy Wink

Probably about half an hour at normal pace... or perhaps 45 minutes if you're really strolling.

But if you're stopping off... then you'll find it no bother at all. You can always get a taxi back... which would probably be about 3 - 4 euros back to your hotel. There's a taxi rank between the Anvil and the harbour.

Ha ha ha ha - no not the proprieter of the Anvil. But we do own this website (amongst others) xxxxx

To follow on from Steve's suggestion... come out of Sun Beach and turn right. Head to the crossroads, and there is a bus stop right outside the supermarket there. They go every half an hour. €1.15 each way. Will get you there... but not back again as they stop around 10ish I think. Good call Steve!

Welcome to the forum, Liverbird01

Yup - kids are welcome at all times. That's great for parents... but not so great for other people if the kiddies are running riot. Hope yours are okay - but I can always give you some large cable ties if you need them Grin

Only kidding. To be honest... I'm yet to see kids runnng riot late at night here. They're normally wiped out and asleep by the time I get out of an evening. Have fun love!
