My favourite bars were Red and Reds ll.  Didn't go to a lot though even though I was there for 2 weeks - Niki Beach was good.  Pals suitcase got lost and still is, so got caught up in that.  But had a fab hol!

Hi Windy - and welcome to the forum!  Glad you like our little town. Just been out walking the dog, and it's hot out. Every now and then the breeze catches you though... which is very welcome!

Definitely Playa Blanca!  We first stayed at Puerto del Carmen some years ago but it was the rest of the country that drew us back over the years.  I loved the pace of life, the amazing landscape, the climate, the people, the food and of course the cheap booze!  (Well, might as well say it as it is! ...... hiccup!)

Once we discovered Playa Blanca however I knew that this was where I would want to return again and again. We set our sights on a holiday home here, and this year the dream came true!

Love all of Lanzarote, but Playa Blanca is the perfect place that combines enough craic etc to make us feel like we're on hols but at the same time enough community spirit etc to make us feel right at home.

Bliss!  Smiley

We love playa blanca, so no wonder we love to run our sandwich shop out here Smiley
Especially when we just have to take the steps down to the beach after we've closed up at night.

I love PDC , didnt like Costa Teguise when i visited one day and wasnt overly keen on Playa Blanca, in saying that in PDC it has too be either the Old Town or Los Pociilos , i dont think i could stay in the centre , but saying that Las Calas was very peaceful, i much prefer the centres like Montana Tropical and CC Pociilos to Atlantico (which i never go in) and the ones about on the strip ) also like the bars and restaurants around the harbour , Matagorda i found very very quiet in fact too quiet and as i live under Manchester airports flight path , even thou the planes wouldn't affect me , just want to get away from them a few times a year ,
so to some up PDC 100% BUT has to be the old town (Flora or Aquarius) or Los Pocciloss (Floresta all the way)
