Hi again Lexie - yes, the Celeste apartments are REALLY close to The Highlander. There's Bar bex too - which is popular. The Highlander goes under new management in January - and will be run by Kevin, who has worked there for ages. lovely chappie - I was nattering to him just yesterday!
If you head over the other side of the road... then definitely go and eat at Coffee & Cream with John and Zoe. The food is great, and both John and Zoe are really friendly. There's more info at
www.coffeeandcreambistrobar-lanzarote.co.uk and also in their section of this forum too, here:
http://www.canarynightlife.net/forum/index.php/board,93.0.html Their menus are there too.
To find them - come out of your apartments onto the main road, and turn right. When you reach the Post Office (called "Correos") on your right, look across the road, and you'll see "La Esquina (also worth a visit). Next to La Esquina is a walkway - go up there, and Coffee & Cream is just through there. Great cooked breakfasts, and they do a "2 for 1" meal deal in the evenings. His food is all home cooked, and very popular with the locals, which tells you a lot

Elle xx
Rat - you keep blinking love. Maybe we should call you Helen?
