I think a lot of people would agree Ted, that it seemed hollow on the day, seemed odd that the top three were on the podium, but no special arrangement was made for the championship winner, he was left to sort himself out and in front of a quite hostile crowd - no press conference, nothing, should have been organised better.

The championship was won by winning though - the boy scored more points in the season.  Man U haven't always won the last game every year they've won the title.

For me Lewis proved himself to be a worthy champion over and over again this year, e.g. Monaco and Spa.  I think McLaren did the right thing by keeping out of trouble further back in the field (and away from a certain former team mate).  As for gifting wins - well Ferrari would never do that would they?

im over the moon for hamilton he has been the best driver for the last 2 years,as flash says hope its the first of many but his biggest danger is this young german driver called vattell? he has two years to beat hamiltons youngest w/champ record and he also might be in a better car.
