Well we made it back from Lanzarote and have to say that we really like Costa Teguise but would love to go back when the weather is better (which will hopefully be September). I've passed on the "hello" messages from Bob and Elle. I've sang in karaokes all over the place (which my hubby hates so wasn't impressed LOL).... We went on the submarine trip which was my idea (what was I thinking? I can't swim and am petrified of water  ) but I did it so proud of myself for that. Loads of great places to eat which means I'll be on a diet for the next 3 months to get rid of all the weight I've put on  Overall...........enjoyed the island but couldn't sunbathe because of the weather but ....that's life. Oh....and I met Meat in the pub (by chance would you believe).... Thanks everyone for the helpful info and the ideas of where to go. Heather xx |

I've got to admit Flash that the week before we only had 3 good days out of the 7.
I'm also intrigued as to how you knew it was Meat, was he singing Bat out of Hell Heather?

I knew it was Meat because he told me previously that he had a bald head and he told me where he was from (not too far from me actually).........so I just asked him and he said "are you Hever?" and that was it LOL. This was in the Bulldog pub!

Glad you had a good time honey! I too saw Meatloaf (but he didn't see me LOL). I wasn't entirely sure it was him... and he was chatting to a lady at The Highlander - so I left him to it. Elle xx Thinking of coming back in September for a week and then having a few days in London (to see a couple of shows). I just need to keep looking at prices and see what I can get. We would love to stay at the Occidental but I think that price range is more for when we go to Vegas |
