Right now I am listening to Bart tapping on his keyboard, whilst "Ride of the Valkyrie" plays in the other room. If you've never heard the track - then Google it. But you must listen to the full version. It was written by Wagner (Hitler's favourite composer apparently... but that's one of the few things I have in common with that person)
Oh yeah - and the sound of Guido's paws tippy tapping around the floor.

I can hear the PC fan, it speeds up and down all the time?? and the microwave just pinged and the rattling of metal dishes downstairs(Lynn is microwaving some fish for the moggies supper)

You're too good to those kitties Flash. Would it upset you to hear that I turned the hose on one yesterday? It was sat on a fencepot just a foot out of Guido's reach - taunting him.
Am now listening to Coldplay in the otehr room... and Bart chuckling about "piston slap". Ahem!

Actually the hosepipe is the perfect deterrent, not cruel in any way, but effective. That's what I tell our neighbours to do if they don't want our cats in their gardens ( I also tell them I'll have a stern word  ) Most of our neighbours have cats of their own anyway however. Btw, it's not me that's too good to them, it's no coincidence that I'm upstairs out of the way, ahem I can hear the telly on again now, which is my cue to go down and be sociable again. |

Evening all!
The radiators are making that "clicking" sound as they cool down, coz I have turned the heating off!
The fan is going on the pc.
I like Wagner too, Ride of the Valkerie was in that film ( I've forgotten) about Vietnam, as the hueys go in to attack.
