was knackered earlier with such a late night last night (and obviously the copious amounts of alcohol too), but having watched Strictly and a few more glasses of vino I'm now wide awake!

Don't know where to put this but I felt the need to tell you all.

Planted some sweetcorn seeds a bit late in the season probably early July but the plants were about 2 foot tall and the corns ripening nicely earlier in the week.  Went down to the veggie patch this morning and the sweetcorn have been completely trashed - nothing there but stalks and trampled to the ground.  Big hole under the fence where they (it?) must have got in.  Was it a fox, squirrels or Mr J said a badger?

It's a mystery and quite upsetting  Cry
