Hi All

My name is Julie and i am new to the canary nightlife site.  I have been going to Lanzarote since about 2005 and absolutely love the place, i am going back again for two weeks on 7th May and cant wait.

Can anybody tell me how the euro is out there at the moment, would i be better waiting to get some euros when i get out there?

Hi Julie - and welcome to the forum.

I've not been into town today - so haven't seen the rate. It was 1.06 to the pound a couple of days ago.  You do normally get a better rate out here.  If you've got time to organise it before you fly out - grab a Nationwide card. You get a good rate, and no charges from it. Not sure how long the card takes to come through... but go have a natter to them anyway.

In the meantime - hopefully someone else can let you know the rate today.
