This venue has always been my choice when in El Golfo and you were always assured of a good value for money meal and excellent service.

When I visited earlier in the year, it was with some disappointment that it had new owners, and the menu had changed.  This disappointment did not last long however, as the new owner, made you feel very welcome and was very attentive to his customers and their needs.

Following a lovely fish meal, we decided to have dessert and both chose the cheesecake with honey.  Ummmmmmm delicious!  my mouth is watering just writing about it.  A few weeks later, we were back in El Golfo.  We just had to pop in for afternoon coffee and cake, and had another helping of the cheesecake, (just to check, that it was as nice as the 1st time of course!  It was!)

Calories?  what calories!!! 

So the next time you are in El Golfo, be sure to call into Restaurante de Mar whether it be for a meal, lunchtime snack, afternoon coffee and cake, or just for a drink.  You will be sure of a warm Welcome.

Hi again Star.

We've yet to try that restaurant... but it's on the list for the next time we're in El Golfo.

Just a thought.... is that cheesecake home made?
