I have had this on my pc for a while after hearing about from another forum and today they are singing the praises of it on sky news , apart from the beatles you can get 8 million tunes FREE you do get adverts a various stages but not that bad , for £10 a month you can get rid , but they only last 30 secs or so , just need to dig my vinyl out now to make a playlist saves me getting a record player

But you can't download it or put it on your Ipod so I can't really see the point or am I missing something?

they were saying this morning that it will take over from itunes they are planning to bring a downloadable part out soon

Went in for a peep, but it says it's not available here unless you sign up for the 10 euro a month.  Never mind, will check it out again sometime and maybe it will be spreading it's wings!

They're saying that it's the future of digital music - no need to "own" any music yourself - you just play whatever you want through spotify but unfortunately you have to put up with ads popping up every so often.

Not sure what you do when you're away from your pc but I suppose they're assuming that before too long most people will be able to get streamed digital music just about anywhere through wireless, 3G or whatever.........

PS I know I shouln't be telling you this in these hard times but I've just been to look at a new car with a USB connector for the iPod   ...
