HI Claire - and welcome to the forum.

Yes, all the bars and restaurants are seeing a decrease in trade due to the current financial climate. However, in Playa Blanca only two bars have closed recently to my knowledge. That's The British Open in Faro Park... and Aqui Mismo that was in the Industrial Estate. Neither of these closed due to the credit crunch though.

Hope that puts your mind at rest hon. Which are your favourite places?

thanks that puts our minds at rest! glad its all ok, would hate to see our fav holiday place change. We had great fun at the quiz nights at Charmers and enjoyed the entertainment in the bar just on the roundabout and up some stairs (cant remember the name, sorry). love the whole island and especially PB, we're staying in villas again and this year there are even more of us going cos we had such a good time together last year. Its a great place to totally chill out!!!

Charmers is still open hon.

The other bar you're describing could be The Old Mill - and yes, that's still open too.

Have a fab time!
