What a difference a bit of winter rain makes, the first picture was taken April 08 and the second April 09.
I always spend a day at the Lagoon when I can, it's at the top of my list with Papagayo.

The whole island was amazing when we were there a few weeks ago, you wouldn't believe so much green could spring up somewhere that appears so barren normally. Where does it grow from??
You know that bit of picon at the back of our patio Flooey - I pulled two bags of weeds out !!!

Yes... it's been bizarre how green the island has been. Mind you, I did comment to Bart recently that it's dulling down again now the weather is hotting up again.
That doesn't surprise me, Flash - once those weeds get a hold... they grow like crazy!

So gladyou liked the photo's, the PDC ones I posted after someone on another site was asking for positive comments on PDC with all the roadwork problems, I put the pictures on to show how great it is looking and I personally think it has been worth the upheaval and can't wait for it to be completely finished.. I might even hire a bike then and have a go on the new cycle lanes Hope you like these of the Strip taken from different directions. I might have to split over a couple of posts as my pictures come out massive on my computer somehow.. keep reducing them but as I have said before.. I am a novice.. |

and one of my favourites from my last visit.... this kept me going last night when we had thunder and lightening in Derbyshire and I had to put the heating on to stop me shivering.....  |

One of mine too bob, I love to sit in the sun and people watch in the Galleon 2 but unfortunately at 3 euro a pint we gave the place a miss after this one..  We did however find Spenders at 1.50 a pint, so had two for the price of one most tea times instead |
