Hello I'm Ombretta.

I'm Italian and I love eating. When traveling often I'm in trouble because of the food.

I'm been in Playa two weeks and, when I discovered Anvil, I stopped being hungry!!!

Excellent cooking and very cheap price!

Hello Ombretta and welcome to the Forum. Smiley

Where in Italy do you live and what is the weather like at the moment?

It was the first time that I came to Lanzarote.

But I think that I will return there. I have in suspended a course of windsurfing!

Hola Ombretta from Italy - and a warm welcome to the forum.  We nearly moved to Italy instead of Lanzarote. We're hoping to go to Venice at some point. My man has been before and loved it... so he'll be taking me this time.

Venice is strange!

It is strange that there is no roads, only channels.
What park next to the houses (dipped in the water) there is boats and not auto! It's strange to see the buses, the taxis, the truck of the officers of the fire, instead that with four wheels as boats!

Would be to visit in the period of carnival, even if in that days the prices are tall and are full of people!

However, in the period of carnival, the joy reigns; in the other periods of the year, according to me, it is more romantic / melancholy.

There are of all the types.

In some you can eat better, in others worse; in some there is more choice of foods, in others less. In general, the prices in Venice are tall, in comparison to those of other Italian cities.

Then in Italy usually the bars (= the cafes) are open in the daytime, from the morning soon up to the 8 p.m. around, because we use to go to the cafe to have breakfast, or for lunch during the break of job, or for the appetizer (in italian language "aperitivo") before dinner, or in the afternoon only to drink a coffe.
