Are you sure?

I thought political comment must be banned!

I typed a message about the UKIP election leaflet we got which believe it or not misspelt "Britain" - how can they be expected to be treated seriously?

going off at a tanget J, I went for a job interview type thing once which was basically open doors, and as I was filling in my application form I overheard another girl asking how to spell the word "secretary" for her application form!   Shocked

Lets just say I wasnt the only one who overheard and needless to say I got the job and she didnt!

Unbelieveable!

I see no-one's taking me up on a discussion about the Euro elections, and all those interesting questions such as whether UKIP will get more votes than Labour, despite their inability to spell, whether anyone understands what the Lisbon Treaty is all about etc etc...

I really do have lots of work to do but this is more interesting...

I find them pretty difficult to take seriously - with or without typos.... Smiley

Does Nick Griffin look like Nigel Farage?

Hope you're voting on Thursday.

I get really annoyed with people who don't vote - think about the Suffragettes!

I think it is Flash - always makes me laugh that these guys try to get elected to a parliament they are trying to destroy....Huh? Smiley

Don't vote - won't vote - as I have said elsewhere, that's my political stance Josie....

Bart, re the quote "truth is not determined by majority vote" we have proportional representation in ireland, would that help!  I'm with you Josie, remember the suffragettes and also, remember, " evil flourishes when good men do nothing." Smiley

Not for me Angel - I'm a sworn non-voter... I've said this before elsewhere, I am a long, long way from being non-political though. It's doesn't stem from apathy.....

I do think PR does make much more sense than first past the post in many ways...

Just been in a client meeting.  He said he thought there should be an "abstain" box to show that someone has made a positive choice not to vote.  The only way you can do that is to spoil the ballot paper.  Also sounds like the Greens are likely to get lots of votes tomorrow as a kind of vote for the planet protest.

That's exactly my view - I'd vote if there was a 'none of the above' box....
