Now that I think about it, there could be the words "La Geria" written on the label of that bottle. Still not sure though!  (What a fat lot of good I am for recommendations!)  Roll Eyes

Marques de Caceres is white rioja Bernie.  We drink a lot of that too.

Was thinking last night of starting a red wine thread but didn't have time.  If anyone wants to get it going that would be good ads I've got a lot to do this morning.

Yes, that's the one J.  We like that, and it's not too expensive either.

Would be interested to see what reds would be recommended in another thread, although we're almost exclusively white when we're in Lanzarote because it's so nice to have chilled wines in the warm weather.

We can buy the reds and bring them home to get us through the dreary cold nights in Ireland!

Pinot is my absolute favourite! I've been having quite a bit of it lately when eating out. I do think €20 a bottle for it is bloody steep though! Cheesy

PS: No worries hon... it's easily moved.

Mrs M has just said that the 'Liria' is like drinking your own urine.

Ange recommended 'valentino' Huh I think and that went down well with the women. Flooey, did I get the name right?

but if you drink a lot of it wont your own urine taste of the wine  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin agree with Toch Elle reccomended it to usa nd it was drink in huge amounts luckily the spar was right behind of us and hidden from the rat run so loads there , tried all varieties and all are brill for the price poor maid must have done her back in with all the empties we provided  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
