I'm disappointed with everyone except SG who started a favorite tipple thread as no-one started a Lanzarote red wine thread as requested this morning so as usual I'm having to do it myself!

So - just to report that Campo Viejo Crianza one of our fave Lanza tipples is currently less than €4 in Hiperdino in PB but £7.99 in Waitrose!

As a complete aside and to keep the boys on their toes I walked past Yates' in Reading today and they have bitter on promotion for most of June at £1.50 a pint  Shocked

I love red... but it gives me a horrendous hangover. Saying that, the mulled wine at Ange's didn't Wink

Angel - it was a friends birthday recently. She had a Christmas party instead of a birthday party - on the principle that they always 'have to' spend Xmas with families. She wanted to see what it was like to have Christmas with friends for a change....

Xmas dinner, tree out, the full works....

It was a great night. Pressies exchanged, mulled wine, turkey, trimmings, Santa hats - we even sang "Jingle Bells" when we arrived... all huddles up in big coats, hats and scarves.
Classic!

LOL - I bought mine in Madrid. It gets really cold here in the winter when you're acclimatised. Big boots, jeans, jumpers, and big coats for me from December to February LOL

We've also kept our quilt going for last summer and this one. Might have to get a heft tog this winter! Shocker!
