Hi there,  I am booked up for 2 weeks in PB (Princess) from 17th September.  I am not the type to sit by the pool/beach all day.  So can anyone recommend any excursions/day trips/night trips for me please?  The things I already have in mind are:

A Timanfaya trip (Jeep)
A boat trip
Rancho Texas Evening
Day trip to Fuerteventura and/or Lobos

If you can shed any light on costs/reviews/recommendations on the above that would be great.  Also if you can think of any other things you'd recommend (especially evenings) please do.  I'll also be considering hiring a car for 3 or 4 days so if you are aware of any good deals please let me know.

Thanks for your help  Smiley

Go up to Famara whilst you've got the car, and go through la Geria taking in a couple of the vineyards...

Also why not go to El Golfo for dinner one evening and watch the sunset! Plenty of places to choose from like this http://www.canarynightlife.net/lanzarote/venues/restaurantedemar/restaurantedemarPB.htm

Hi Dave - good to see you!

Other things to try are a fishing trip which you can get down at the harbour. I think it's around €70 for the day. Review here - http://www.canarynightlife.net/forum/index.php/topic,3235.0.html

If you are hiring the car, then there's loads of exploring that can be done. 2 you can try are:

http://www.lanzaroterelocation.co.uk/lanzarote-south-tour

Do also take a climb up to the top of Montaña Roja in the town. It's not too strenuous... but do take plenty of water with you. Should take about half an hour to get up to the top... and the views from up there are magnificent. Link to a 360 view  - http://www.lanzaroterelocation.co.uk/a-birds-eye-view

Not long now then eh love?

I'm dizzy now with all that going round and round.

SG - take a look at the 360 degree tour from the top of Montana Roja tonight if you can't view it at work - it's stunning!

really strange - that is one that I could look at so have already done so!  Beautiful - not quite the same as a 360 panoramic view in Birmingham!

It was done by a good pal of ours (Paul Boden from www.360turismo.com ) he also did our photos for that Spain magazine article. Lovely chap - I call him Vin Diesel because I think he looks like him Cheesy
