I've not been to the sands, does look nice tho, on google maps it seems a bit to far of a walk for us to the bars we like, thats coz we are lazy and like to crawl back to apartment  Grin so shorter the distance the better!!!
I'd highly recommend CT...it's not too quiet and not too busy, just right!!
We've been twice and are looking into booking a 3 week - month holiday as soon as poss!! hehe.  Cheesy
Hopefully someone can else can advise on the sands?

I've not actually read any reviews on Sands... so I'd be interested to hear too.

Sam - I think you'd like CT. You're a creature of habit... and I think would find a fair bit to keep you and Mrs Lenn happy. It is however, a lot quieter than Puerto del Carmen... in the same way that Playa Blanca is... but a bit more so.

Sands is about a 20 minute walk into CT centre, with a commercial centre on the seafront on the way.

PS: Sorry hainaultman - we were posting at the same time... so apologies for any duplication.

Sands Beach Villas,
This resort was Lanzarote Beach Club, thousands of people including ourselves owned weeks at this resort when it was timeshare, the owners increased the maintenance to around £1000 per week owned and then eventually renamed the resort and illegally resold the weeks. It is a beautiful resort and was classed as a six star.

I go to Sands occasionally for lunch when I'm there, it's very nice, but some apartments are getting ready for updating.
