I have just found a well known complex in the old town in PDC where it is £120 more expensive to go full board than it is AI , gonna keep it under my hat as if i can get decent flights booking it

got told Julie has found another complex which we know even cheaper for AI but prices are so expensive for the dates , may need to do a bit of swapping around days or even do the via Madrid option saw elsewhere someone saved a fortune by going from Glasgow-Gatwick-Madrid-Arrecife . rather than Glasgow direct

Going via another stop is okay... but I wouldn't recommend going via another two. For the money you'll end up spending in the airport on teas and coffees, you won't save anything... and it would take a fair bit longer to get there.

Via Madrid has worked for a number of our pals though.

If we did it that way we would haveto go to Liverpool airport and then to Madrid . which is a pain as i keep saying Manchester is just down the road and can be there in 10 mins early morning or 20 a bit later depenedent on which way we went the A556 -M56 is the longest the back roads throu Mobberley and Ashley(small villages bob would know of them) and then down by the cargo centre is a lor quicker

i also dont drink tea/coffee in airports find them a rip off ,  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin well thats my excuse for a pint or two Grin Grin Grin Grin

two interim stops will pretty much guarantee lost luggage too.

we have been toying with hand luggage only , but she who must be obeyed needs her 20 pairs of shoes for 7 days  Grin Grin Grin Grin seriously its 10kg each hand luggage and we only 15kgs each in Jan and we didnt wear half the stuff


that might skip round the luggage in Rome us in Lanza problem
