Guessing from the description that this is the Barcelo in the centre of town... rather than the one on Avenida del Mar. Not sure if it is of use to anyone... but there you go if it is.

the "barcelo lanzarote" is a nice hotel but in costa teguise are two barcelo hotels, the other called " barcelo la galea" this is not a good hotel. there have bad staffs and not a nice service.

the "barcelo lanzarote" is a nice one.

i just got bk from costa teguise and the hotel nx to barcelo looks like its having some refurb work done, we are on about the barcelo next to the glasshouse carvey? which is now called the bulldog carvery?

i would reccomend Molino De Guartiza...cheap but excellent!!! large apartments, sea views from all. its slightly away from the nightlife but i would say no more than a 10min walk to saxo's (barcelo area) and 5mins to the food strip n where coyotes/mambo's is.

i`ve friends there was this year in march in the "barcelo la galea", the problems there starts in begining when there checkd in. there told them there are not on the list as costumers for the hotel. my friends called the holiday agency and there comes very quick to the hotel to check it with the reception. my friends there was on there list but this "older man" on the reception was not looking in the right list. then later my friend have changed the room too why there was no warm water in bathroom. my fiends want a babybed for there little boy, and the info from reception was " no problem in 15 min you get one" there was waiting 2 days. the grils who cleans the room was very good and clean, this girl ask the maintenec man to get a babybed why for reception it was to imposible to get one. the cleaning girl needs only 5 min to get one. but there was other things too and on the third day the holiday agency put them in a other hotel the " barcelo Lanzrote" and my friends enjoyed there rest 10 days of there holiday in his hotel. there must changed a lot from last year to this year when there is so big differenc.
