I have to confess I am going on holiday properly this weekend and sadly not to my beautiful home in Lanzarote but to the south of France which is also lovely (and superb food) and where we went recently for a long weekend. Work is out of control - largely the result of redundancies - more to do for those who are left, so tomorrow is going to be manic and I will have to be sensible about how much time I spend on here though I must find out how SG got on in her quiz night. The good news  is that I'm going to take my netbook and the hotel has internet access so I'm going to be checking on you all regularly and hopefully doing the quiz some days (I'm still in the lead today BTW  ). Packing to do now and holiday notes etc etc............... Josie xxx |

Doing much the same as you Josie, and no Lanza either  Work is much the same - need to be in by 7 at the latest to have any chance of escaping at a decent time  |

Lucky Ladies, hope you both have a brilliant time.
It's about five weeks before we're away again, although if I can pick up a bit we're in Liverpool for the weekend - does that count as a break ??

Have a great time, I'm not long back from France, but, I'm lucky enough to be going to Lanza in September.
Flash Liverpool is the perfect place for a break, enjoy.

Making good progress at work - it's amazing how it is possible to focus when you have a deadline to meet. Also the phones have gone quiet at last as school holidays have arrived at last.

Well I'm in France now and the hotel has wireless hotspots all over so I'm sitting in our room looking out at a cloudless sky and it's in the high 20's. Flight was delayed yesterday but only for an hour which I used to buy some designer sunglasses . Have been to the supermarket already to buy savora mustard Dixie and other stuff (like wine ). Unfortunately I now have to do all the office work I failed to finish before I came away before my office reopens tomorrow morning - yes Keith - I know. Mr J is playing with the boat so I have a couple of hours . Jxx PS Happy holidays to Celty! |

It's been a pretty busy trip so far and Mr J has decided he really likes morning  ! Having only just finished dinner he is now in bed snoring his socks off and we've got an early start tomorrow - I'm going to try to do some snorkelling early while the sea is flat so I'll love you and leave you for now. French is getting better -went boating with 5 French friends yesterday. Will catch up properly later. J xx |
