Thanks Flooey!

Nice new French friends invited us round for un apero ( pre dinner drinks) yesterday.  Time specified was 7pm, we turned up at 7.15, other guests didn't turn up till 8pm - well it is the south of France.  Abandoned idea of going to a restaurant and we were still there at 1AM after lots of wine and nibbles followed by take out pizza.  The evening ended with several shots of home distilled pear spirit - lethal stuff, glad no-one lit a match.

Snorkelling was good fun - had to follow a buoyed underwater trail - loads of fish and the sea was flat thanks Mick.  Air temp was about 35 degrees, water a more chilly 23.

I'd love to go n have a "propper" look at the Great Barrier Reef before I pop mi clogs....I've never been diving tho, but wouldn't mind givin it a go.

Thanks Smokie but I've only won twice!

Actually feel more tired than when I left but it was very hot (though we had aircon at night so I can't really complain) and we packed in a lot.

I took great pleasure in telling the salesgirl at Montpellier airport today that €78 is not a good "duty free" price for my favorite perfume which I have purchased this year at €50 in Playa Blanca and also £50 at Gatwick..

Got to go as Mr J needs me.  See you tomorrow..
