Am back home in Lanzarote... safe and well... with 3 boys in tow. Needed to dry out from a very wet England.
But happy to be home... and enjoying a glass of something nice after the BBQ.

Bet the weather made you appreciate getting home even more! I'm off tonight for 10 nights in North Yorkshire - I've packed up everything from wellie-sandals and jeans-shorts as I've no idea what the hell is happening with the weather in England at the moment  |

Absolutely CG! Although the smell of fresh rain, mixed with garden flowers, was heavenly.
It's 32 degrees here in PB today - and we're about to wander off into town.
Good luck with the packing honey - nightmare isn't it!?

Thanks guys.
No Madstock... but did pop into Sainsburys and pick up some new sensibly-sized wine glasses (anyone who's been to our place knows our original wine glasses are the size of buckets... but I'm sure that doesn't surprise anyone eh). Also got Alan a couple of Sticky Ginger Cakes.
Met a stroppy cow at the airport (Thomsonfly) who decided it would be a good idea to put the 3 lads on their own 9 rows away from me. Wouldnt have minded... but we checked in 4 HOURS before take-off!!! She obviously isn't getting "any" at the moment, and took it out on me, after being rather vigorous in her questioning. She also struggled with an e-ticket too... claiming she'd not seen one before... T*at! Mind you... if I was that ugly I'd be a b*tch too lol. We got it all sorted though, thanks to a really helpful hostess on the plane, and a lovely lady who lives in PDC who was happy to swap. That nice PDC lady was saying that she checked in 3 hours before, and was told that all the aisle seats had been taken. Yeah right!
Oh, and we were easily dropped off close to the terminal too - although my pal couldn't pick me up when I first arrived, and had to park up.
It's absolutely baking here this afternoon... and we're glad of the pool. Nipped down to Wax earlier for a couple of sneaky drinkies too. Welcome home me! happy days!
