There have been terrible stories on the news tonight about the fires on La Palma.
Many people have lost everything they owned and one village was burned to the ground.
They said that Spains Prime Minister is holidaying on Lanzarote and flew over to see the damage and talk to the people first hand.
I'm sure our thoughts are with these poor people.

headlines on bbc weather page the wind change will aid the fires in la palma good sign for them.

When I looked yesterday they had lost 5 fire fighters throughout Spain with the wild fires. One of those was a driver in La Palma..... Tragic...
