Hi guys. Just bumped into Mandy in town... and she says the chippy is now open again. I headed over there and spoke to a couple of people to see what they thought. Mark from Wax, and Hugh from PB Property Services both said the new chips are great! Everyone seems to be loving the cod too. Oh, and the curry sauce.

Haven't tried the new chips myself yet... but will be heading down in the next few days for a sample.

Well, we went last night - and it was fab! The chips were gorgeous... fat, and cooked perfectly. The cod was superb... and the mushy peas topped it off nicely. Also had a taste of their curry sauce - and I'll be having that next time.

Spot on dinner!!!

I'm not a big bad wolf but.............

I have been twice to this chippy, the first time i wasn't to impressed, so left it few weeks to try again but still not overly impressed, my reasons...

Soggy Chips, Soggy batter, Small portions and  i feel that its overpriced in some areas, ie A Microwaved (soggy) pie cost 5 euro!!

However the staff are friendly and always smiling.

Sorry guys and gals this is not a dig its just an observation......
