When I walked in and said to Dave, "give us a quiche", he gave me a slap.

It's in Faro park, Dave.

Either get a bus from the same side of the main road as your hotel (number 30 - every half an hour) and when it looks like you've left the town... but then end up opposite a row of shops, and have gone around a teeny roundabout - it should drop you off almost outside. €1.15 per person each way.

If driving... head out of town towards Yaiza, and turn left at the roundabout that has the petrol station on it (there's only one in town). Keep going straight over all the roundabouts until you pass a large hotel on the left called Rubicon Palace. Keep going straight over the next roundabout, and then turn left at the next one. You should spot a lighthouse diagonally left from it.

After you've turned left at that roundabout, turn right at the next... and you'll come to a row of shops. Le Moka is the last on the left.

You can also do it by heading from your hotel and turning left when you reach the seafront promenade. Keep walking for about 3/4 of an hour, and cut through the very last hotel on the right (avoiding security) - and turn left at the other side of it. Head up until you reach the mini roundabout, and go straight over. Then you'll see the row of shops on the left.

A bit of a hike out of town - but well worth it.

PS: Gorgeous weather waiting here for you hon! 2 days left to go for you!

Thank heavens I didn't pronounce it as "quickie".
