Hey there Lisaloo. Nice to see a new face. How's Tahiche today?
Your pal Sally-Ann can often be found in the Canary Nightlife nightclub in this section, strutting her pink stuff! Feel free to join in!
Flooey xx

Hi Mick.... Do you get up to the Lakes often? It's one of the few places I really miss in the UK. Had many a good weekend up there mixing walking with a few pints in the evening.

Hiya Bart Not been up for 12 months or so, but in the past I think I've had my lunch on virtually every mountain up there When I was with my ex fiance we used to go up nearly every weekend. I like walking from Keswick, and like your good self Bart, have had a few pints there myself. Favourite walk. From Keswick; over Cat Bells, onto Maiden Moore, then High Spy, finally getting to Dale Head at around 3,000ft. Absolutely brill on the right day. Then back down over Robinson and back to Keswick for the evening "refreshments" !! LOL Mick

It was Clappersgate Mick..... Nothing more than a hill compared to most. I've done pretty much all of them over the years....

Hiya Bart. Just seen these reply's from yourself & flooey. Clappersgate eh,,,,, believe me flooey it is only a hill as Bart says "compared to some". Try Scafell pyke,,,WOWEEE,, now that is "a hill" !! Theres a good walk that would suit flooey just down the road from Clappersgate. Its called the Elterwater Round. No "hills" flooey,,,,, its through fields, along paths & over streams (becks as they call em in lakeland) past Skelwith Force & the slate works,,, its nice on a sunny day.... probably about 3 miles in total, plus ya end up back at the pub !!,,,,,, come on flooey,,, you can do 3 miles easy !!! ha ha ha.... Mick

We had a drive up to Skelwith Force the same day we did Clappersgate. It's great little place. Interesting stuff in the shop, and had the home made soup there once in the past which was fantastic. Nice to visit in winter too when the water is really flowing!

Ah yes, I remember that place. Just beautiful! Me and Bart's boys all ended up paddling in the stream.

Hi Bart and Mick, Just reading about your exploits in the Lake District, reminds me of a school holiday there. We climbed Langdale Pikes and Helvellyn but the most horrific memory I have is being made to dive into Tarn Howes my god it was cold made more than just ones teeth ache!!!.........John.

I've always found the waters arounf the British Isles a bit too erm... bracing... for my taste! Mind you I struggle to get in our pool in Lanzarote outside of May to September too!
