HI there Mark and welcome to the forum. There's a few Costa teguise fans in here who will probably jump in and help. What kind of food do you and the family like? You mention fussy.... so in what way hon?
If it helps.... go to the Costa Teguise page on the main site (go to home page, then click on Lanzarote, then click on Costa Teguise) and you'll see a fair few to have a nosey at.

Understand completely... 2 out of 3 of hubby's boys are the same!
Oh yes - Cutty Sark is my favourite - and in their section of the forum there's a print out that the kids can take with them for a mini competition. We haven't eaten at The Bulldog, but they're good guys in there, and it's great for if you're missing your sports.
Also try Coffee And Cream - they do 2 meals for the price of 1 in the evenings. Their home made pies are great. We like their breakfasts too. There's a good wide menu... so you and the missus can have something a bit more adventurous whilst keeping the kids happy with chips. There's a chippy on the seafront too - new owners now... but I know the chips there used to be really good.
Of course there's Ryan's Bar as well - which will keep everyone happy.
Also you have the British Cafe which we love! Jude and Stu are great there.
To be honest, just about every restaurant will do "sommat & chips" - so don't worry at all!
Enjoy!

another couple to try ( not advertised on here.... yet!) the black bull, next to the celeste apts, sue makes fab homemade steak pie and the jug and platter, upstairs from us ( british cafe) they are open evenings from 6pm with a free bouncy castle for the kids,or the big kids ie us when we've had a few too many!! but dont tell anyone! if you pop into to see us in the cafe we can point you in the right direction! and dont be afraid to ask to swap things on menus,i'm always happy to mix meals up if kids will only eat certain things!such as they dont like their beans touching the chips!! lol happy hols xx

The Sausalito in Playa Bastian and the Galeon Playa both do three course "Specials" for 8 es that are good value. Both are nice places, too-especially the Sausalito.

The Sausalito do a variety of Italian and general stuff. Pizzas, steaks, and so on. And yes, it is child-friendly. Often pretty full, but it never feels crowded.
(I ain't been anywhere, Flooey! I do tend to just comment on the threads I can add something to! And I still can't get onto Gazette Live-apart from once in a blue moon! I've tried all the suggestions that Webmaster Paul has given me and none of them work! Oh well........)
