Just returned from enjoying a 14 day break at La Goleta (Near Lighthouse end of Playa Blanca) and came across Lighthouse Cafe following reviews on this forum.
Visited the cafe frequently during the week to enable our teenage lads to play pool, catch up with friends on internet (two pay as you use PCs at back of cafe) and also just have a local place to chill during the evening after meals out or to watch football (sorry for those having to endure the mighty Boro v Sheff Utd!).
The staff were all very friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Thanks to Jo for making us feel so welcome the first night we walked in, typical lost tourists made very welcome! Also to Steve, Steph and all others who made us very welcome all week and fed us some lovely meals. The prices are some of the best on the Island for quality of food provided and if staying around Faro Park then we recommend you try this cafe for breakfasts, lunch or evening meals. The desserts (particularly the fudge cake) went down exceptionally well with the lads.
Well done to all who work at this lovely little cafe, a real god send to those in villa's around the area.
