Hi guys. this afternoon there has been a fire at CC Papagayo (Burger King complex). It has fried all the electrics... so a load of people are obviously down there with generators etc trying to sort it out.
No one has been hurt... thankfully.

PS: I mistakenly told people there was a fire at CC Papagayo a couple of weeks back, when it was actually in Matagorda. I think I'll keep quiet from now on - we don't want any more coming true!

Allan Day who posts in this site occasionally has a couple of photos on his facebook. I've dropped him a message to ask permission to use them in here. None of the fire... but there's a couple of smoke, and of fire crew.

Power restored to half of the businesses and they are open or opening back for business today ... all on here so better give them the shout as they all lost a bit yesterday and have been mad cleaning up from smoke damage etc. to get going again:

So go and grab some cold beer, hot food and make sure the seats don't get too hot!
