my dad just wanted me to tell you that he has blocked pop-ups like you said and we have tried to delete the anti virus but it isnt working and is still in the bottom right corner. it keeps popping up saying the computer has a critical virus and keeps asking to do a scan, and saying he has a trojan.

the personal anti virus is hiding in my dads laptop, has any one got any ideas how to find it?

Bob i have just thought didnt you post on the weird thread that was about last night advertising some erectile cream , i got 2 virus warning from that post so wonder if thats where you got it from

Yes, but it worked ok after that, I think it was me this morning I click on some scan, then it came on my Laptop, but I bought some cream Sam, let you know if it work's  |

Glad you're sorted Bob. Thanks to the texts and messages from you guys last night - we got in and deleted the message, banned the poster permanently and checked that the site had not been compromised by a virus - that's the kind of service you get from Gandy-Draper Thanks for watching the forum guys... and for flagging up nasties like that - although you've just attracted a load more by using those descriptive terms. Thanks for that... am Bart and I not allowed a life AWAY from the PC?  |

A life away from the pc ? No, can't imagine that. We'd have to go out and make friends with people. and people who aren't on the computer all day are some sort of social misfits anyway, aren't they. I know I was. er, er delete, er, it's here somewhere. |
