Regular readers of this forum will recall that this is the latest Penelope Cruz/Pedro Almodovar film and it is due to be in UK cinemas from 28 August.  Part of it was shot in Lanzarote.

The Times today has an interview with the lovely Penelope and about the film says:

"Every scene is beautifully mounted in Broken Embraces; it is a bewildering canvas of styles, switching from bubblegum pink soap-opera set to startling, lunar-looking landscapes near the coast"

They will be the bits filmed in Lanzarote then.

In Birmingham recently and today, they've been filming scenes for the TV show The Hustle

Lynn saw the trailer for broken embraces at the cinema the other night, she said it made the hair stand up on the back of her neck, everywhere was so familliar.

she also said the film looked sh*te  Roll Eyes

I'll just look at my chargeable time - oh dear 3.7 hours logged of which 2.4 chargeable

I read the paper on the train on the way in.....

But I haven't been out anywhere and I declined lunch in a restaurant with colleagues!

You seem to have an odd system for this chargeable time, you must explain it to me when we 're having a beer sometime  2.4 hours, that's two hours and twenty four minutes  Huh  Your invoioces must be bloody precise!!

It has to be 6 minutes - because you need to allow one minute for "walking between offices" in addition to your 5 minute increments LOL
